What’s on offer?

Join us for an informal art workshop from 13:00-15:00 to explore at how our local green spaces boost our health our wellbeing.

What’s it about?

It's easy to overlook the nature in parks, gardens and other greenspaces around us, but these spaces and the nature within them are vital for our health and wellbeing. At this informal workshop you can drop in to our art and nature workshop, with creative activities for adults and children. Tell us your favourite greenspaces in The Leys and speak to organisations and volunteers that are involved in caring for the local community and greenspaces.

Of particular interest to

The event will be of particular interest to residents of Blackbird Leys and Northfield Brook. Residents who contributed to the research 'Community Values in Accessible Urban Green Spaces and Governance', with researcher Mattia Troiano, are invited to collect their free copy of the drawings that emerged from the walked interviews.
