The event, which will run three times through the day, will follow the following plan:
Welcome and Introduction (10 minutes)
Start the event with a brief introduction by the host, outlining the day's activities and giving a fun, kid-friendly overview of what data linkage means.
Interactive Journey through Data in your day (20 minutes - Main Event 1)
Children and families will dive into this activity: a hands-on, interactive game where participants think about their journey to school and stick on the Velcro board of their journey where they think data might be collected. The game is designed to be engaging for children, encouraging teamwork and curiosity.

Children and families will dive into this activity: a hands-on, interactive game where participants play as "Data Detectives." In this game, they'll explore how different pieces of information (data) can be connected to solve a fun, mystery-themed challenge. The game is designed to be engaging for children, encouraging teamwork and curiosity.
Reflection: How Data Linkage Works (10 minutes)
A dynamic, kid-friendly presentation by a data scientist, using examples from the game to explain how data linkage works in real life. This segment will feature visual aids and simple analogies to make the concepts accessible and fun.
Total Event Duration: 1 hour
A fun, family-friendly event where children become detectives in an interactive game to learn about data linkage. The main event is a hands-on mystery-solving activity, followed by a simple explanation of how data works in real life.
