Join us for a three-day celebration of Doughnut Economics as part of the Global Donut Days, running from 6th to 8th November 2024.  With inspiring talks, engaging workshops, and community-driven activities that connect local actions to global change, let’s explore how Doughnut Economics can shape a fair and sustainable future for all!  

What’s it about?

6th Novemeber 2024 Online events

The first day kicks off with a series of online events highlighting examples of Doughnut Economics from across the world. Topics will include the opportunities and challenges posed by the principles of Doughnut Economics. By leveraging digital platforms, we explore how digital technologies facilitate global connections, enhance educational opportunities, and enable sustainable economic practices.                                        Speakers/Leaders: Leading experts from the Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL) community.

7th November 2024 Business Workshop 10am-4pm

This workshop targets local businesses and entrepreneurs, providing a comprehensive introduction to Doughnut Economics. It includes case studies highlighting practical applications and challenges.              Speakers/Leaders: Economics experts, business strategists, and case study presenters from successful local enterprises.

8th November 2024 Community Session 12-4pm

A day dedicated to engaging the local community with Doughnut Economics. Activities include hands-on workshops and open discussions about integrating sustainable practices into daily life. Emphasis will be on the role of Doughnut Economics in fostering community well-being and resilience.                            Speakers/Leaders: Community leaders, local activists, educators, and members of the DEAL community.

Thursday 7th November Business Workshop- Open to business owners, managers, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in sustainable business practices. No prior knowledge of Doughnut Economics required.

Friday 8th November Community Session- Open to all community members, including families, students, retirees, and local organizations. Ideal for anyone interested in learning about sustainable living.
