09th November 2020 17:30 - 19:00
Following ongoing, collaborative and multi-disciplinary research between Sheffield City Council and two social sciences’ departments at Sheffield Hallam University, this interactive, online event will comprise two key elements. First, the team will present the initial findings from their evaluation of Sheffield’s greenspaces during the period December 2019 to August 2020. Second, this presentation will set the scene for a debate where members of the public will be invited to engage with a panel of key stakeholders. The panel will include collaborators from Sheffield City Council in addition to other practitioners, policymakers, charitable trusts, and volunteer groups. The team anticipate that the debate will be chaired by Dr Julian Dobson of Urban Pollinators and Sheffield Hallam University given his experience in greenspace research and policy, and his involvement with previous events.
