A four-hour flash writing retreat for neurodivergent creatives, providing an opportunity to participate in writer-led sessions, be inspired to create a flash piece of [poetry/manifesto for personal living that stands as a call for action, towards an inclusive society that celebrates individuality]. Hosted at the inspiring Ouseburn Farm in Newcastle, the half-day event includes an informal lunch and access to the sensory trail and farm animals.
There will be a strong wellbeing element to the retreat. Exact details will be co-developed by the workshop creative leaders and may include:
Creating a self-care plan
Managing boundaries
Effective emotional management of social media for writers
Building resilience
Dealing with anxiety, doubt and isolation
Developing support networks and knowing where to find help
