The workshop will provide participants with a chance to engage in one of our research methodologies called eco-mapping - where kids and adults can develop their visual maps of their STEM journeys to date, a fun and interactive self-assessment to reflect on the influence of family, community and society in developing STEM interests.
The Gendered Journeys project (https://genderedjourneys.com/) is an ESRC-funded project, investigating ways in which gender may influence in the progress of students through higher education, graduation and progression into skilled employment in the STEM sector in India, Rwanda and the UK.
The workshop will be staffed by our group of interdisciplinary researchers sharing project findings on the relationship between gender and other aspects of identity, and educational and occupational cultures in STEM globally. Follow us @STEM_JourneysThe
