Guildford Cathedral

What’s on offer?

Are you passionate about making Guildford and the wider Surrey region more sustainable?

Do you want to make your voice heard on important issues relating to sustainable business, green spaces and technology, climate change, and infrastructure management?

A real impetus exists across key climate change groups in the county and borough, and we invite you to join the conversation, to make a sustainable Surrey even more of a long-term reality.

What’s it about?

Join Professor Amelia Hadfield and an expert panel of academic colleagues and community stakeholders, for a stimulating and participatory public engagement event, where you will discover the latest sustainability-focused research and innovation initiatives being led by the University of Surrey.

We are delighted to welcome Surrey Climate Commission, Zero Carbon Guildford and leading sustainability researchers to collectively explore the region’s multiple sustainability needs, how they are currently being met, and plans for the future.

Members of the public, business owners, professionals, public sector workers and young people are encouraged to join the discussion.

You will walk away with new connections, shared knowledge, and concrete action plans on how our community can collectively contribute towards a greener Surrey!

Free parking will be available on the University Stag Hill campus, directly opposite the venue and refreshments will be served. The venue is fully accessible.
