Intergenerational Living: Bringing Generations together

Lifelong wellbeing theme

What’s on offer?

This event explores the possibility of creating an exciting intergenerational living initiative between older people and students in Sheffield. It brings together research carried out over the last year to demonstrate a model of intergenerational living that can be of mutual benefit to older and younger people alike.

Different models will be presented and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to discuss your views and provide us with feedback.

What’s it about?

Through this initiative students can live cheaply, in return for the provision of support to older people, such as shopping and accompanying them to doctors’ appointments. The initiative is designed to reduce loneliness across generations.

Who’s leading the event?
