Is that sexist!? Pub Quiz

What’s on offer?

Join us for a pub quiz to help you identify sexism online. We’ll start with a 10 minute talk about the types and sources of sexism online followed by 3 quiz rounds asking you, “Is it sexist?!” which should take about 45 minutes – 1 hour. Finally, we’ll briefly (5 minutes) share some ways that you can combat sexism online and promote gender equality. There will also be a photo booth with Instaragrammable/TikTokable props to help you start your journey of combatting sexism online.

What’s it about?

In this session we’ll be learning about the ways sexism is expressed online toward both women and men. We’ll also talk a bit about feminism and how gender stereotypes hurt everyone. You’ll have the chance to learn through a pub quiz and put your learning into practice with our Feminist Photobooth.
