How do we deal with the growing problem of plastic pollution?
The world is reaching breaking point. Experts predict plastic pollution could reach 1.3 billion tonnes by 2040 – and it’s the next generation that will inherit this disaster.
But it’s not too late to make a change.
If you’re passionate about the environment, we want to hear from you! We’re calling on under 16s to create a poster for our competition. Your design should identify a plastic-related problem and pose a solution to that problem.
Your design can be linked to climate action, ecosystems on-land or water or how plastics are made, sold, used and disposed of. You can use the template attached or create your own, with drawings, photographs or words - it's up to you!
The best designs will win a £20 Waterstones voucher, and will feature on our website and twitter.
