The 2022 Showcase from the MA in Arts Management combines highlights of the exciting new student research in arts and cultural industries management and cultural policy with insights and reflections by visiting contemporary researchers. This year’s event will be delivered in person and will highlight the work of (invited guests TBC as this depends on in-person or online format) and allow for questions/answers and a discussion. (45 minute session)
In addition, the work from select MA graduates will be featured, allowing audiences to hear contemporary and groundbreaking work from recent QUB graduates.
The showcase is popular each year with anyone interested in or working in the arts and cultural sector and a great way for the public to hear about the research and thinking behind the exhibitions, events and performances we all enjoy.
The event addresses contemporary thinking on key issues in arts management and social policy through featuring new exciting work from key researchers. It looks at what shapes the culture we engage in as society and addresses key social issues arising from this.
The choice of academic guests is to be confirmed as it will depend on whether the event is in-person, online or hybrid. Previous guests have been of international calibre and well respected.
Anyone interested in arts, culture and society including practitioners, policymakers and researchers including past, present students on the MA and those interested in undertaking the MA going forward
