What’s on offer?

15-minute introduction to research findings about the benefits of yoga practice - whether in-person or online - for women in mid-life and beyond, followed by a 45-minute yoga practice with Bournemouth University researcher and yoga teacher Dr Juliette Hecquet, and a 20-minute relaxation session. Feedback polls at opening and closing of event. 

What’s it about?

An exploration of how yoga can help manage both physical and emotional symptoms of perimenopause and menopause and beyond by providing an activity that integrates body and mind. Participants learn how starting with online yoga classes can be a great start for those worried they are not flexible enough, too old or anxious about trying something new.
