This panel discussion brings together leading experts to discuss the 2024 US election. The talk will be followed by a Q&A inviting questions from the in-person and online audience.

What’s it about?

Will the 2024 US election mark a turning point in American democracy and in the country’s role in the world? The day after the 2024 vote, you will hear from experts in the field about the election and its possible domestic and international implications.

Who’s leading the event?

  • Marta Dassù, Senior Director of European Affairs at The Aspen Institute and Editor-in-Chief of Aspen Institute Italia’s journal, Aspenia.
  • Keith Magee, Senior Fellow and Visiting Professor of Practice in Cultural Justice at University College London Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose.
  • Joseph C. Sternberg, member of the editorial board of The Wall Street Journal, where he writes the Political Economics column, and author of The Theft of a Decade.
  • Chaired by Peter Trubowitz, Professor of International Relations and Director of the Phelan US Centre at LSE.
