What’s on offer?

An interactive workshop and taster session focusing on the impact of the cost of living crisis on young people in our immediate area. This will be followed by students' Q&A with current UoL students about their academic experience.

What’s it about?

An opportunity to understand and explore the impact of the cost of living crisis on young people in West Yorkshire.

  • How and why does the cost of oil impact on my opportunities?
  • What's the relationship between global issues and my immediate environment?

This session will demonstrate the impact on global developments and decisions made in Westminster on a young person's daily life at home.

Open to

School/college students aged 16-18 with an interest in politics/current affairs.
