What's on offer?

Join us for a 60 minute interactive workshop exploring how risks in food supply chains can affect food prices, food security and the cost of living. After a short introduction, participants will take part in hands-on activities using everyday food items to map supply chains, identify risks and explore how disruptions can spread through the food system. The main activity will involve working together to develop practical resilience and mitigation strategies, followed by a discussion of ideas and solutions.

What's it about?

How do disruptions in food supply chains affect food prices and the cost of living? This interactive workshop explores the risks facing our food system, from production to consumption, and how communities, businesses and consumers can help build more resilient and secure food supplies. Through hands-on activities, participants will learn about food security, supply chain resilience and practical solutions to everyday challenges.
