What's on offer?

Artificial Intelligence is transforming how we work, hire, assess, and support people—but what does that really mean for the psychology of work?

Join us for a thought-provoking panel discussion with the authors of the EWOP in Practice Special Issue on Artificial Intelligence in Work and Organizational Psychology. We will explore how AI is being used in employability platforms, HR decision-making, psychological screening, and coaching—and what that means for ethics, trust, and human connection.

What's it about?

Topics will include:

  • AI-powered employability tools and relational dynamics
  • Algorithmic decision-making and fairness in HR
  • GenAI adoption: what HR professionals really think
  • Chatbots in psychological screening and assessment
  • Human oversight, trust, and the future of AI governance

Who's leading the event?

The panel will be chaired and moderated by EWOP In Practice editors Diana Rus (University of Groningen) and Belgin Okay-Somerville (University of Glasgow).

Open to

This session is open to anyone interested in learning about AI in the workplace, with plenty of room for questions and conversation.

Of particular interest to

This would be of particular interest to work psychologists, HR practitioners, coaches, researchers, or those AI-curious
