What's on offer?
Join us in West Belfast’s Gaeltacht Quarter for a lively afternoon of fresh ideas, and community conversation. This event will showcase new and ongoing research reflecting the broad themes of language, community, learning and wellbeing.
Attendees will hear from emerging scholars during themed research panels. Following each panel, there will be a lively and interactive Q&A session, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers, ask questions, and explore ideas further.
What's it about?
Topics will include: The Irish Language and Social Sciences; The Irish Language and the Environment; How the Irish Language can benefit our community; Women's involvement in the Irish Language revival; decolonization and the Irish Language.
A majority of the event will be through the medium of Irish, but we are planning on having one panel in English.
