What's on offer?

This event combines live artistic performance with an interactive panel discussion. The session begins with an artistic unfolding—a performance that interweaves spoken word and visual elements, offering a creative reflection on the challenges of balancing personal and professional life in the context of migration.

The performance is followed by a  panel conversation featuring Colombian researchers, professionals, and students based in the UK. Panelists will share personal and professional experiences, with space for audience questions and contributions.

The even focuses on the balance between our working and personal lives.It explores the challenges of balancing work, study, family, and care responsibilities while living abroad. Through art and conversation, Colombian researchers, professionals, and students share their personal journeys of migration and how these experiences shape their lives. It’s a chance to reflect together on the realities of work–life balance and to connect with others through shared stories.
