What's on offer?

As part of the Festival of Social Science in Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University are hosting an introduction to Investigative Genetic Genealogy. 

What's it about?

Have you ever wondered how a combination of DNA and family tree searches might help solve murders and identify victims of crime? Or, wanted to know how investigators find their way from DNA to perpetrators of crime? 

Come along to this in-person introductory event where you will get a chance to play the role of investigator. Learn from a team of experts and students about how you can take your first steps into the investigative professions. 

The event will be of particular interest to young people in year 12 and upwards who are interested in developing a career at the cutting edge of investigative science.
