What's on offer?

Join us for an exploration of queerness and neurodivergence through music.

What's it about?

In this session, with a focus on music, visitors will learn about the findings of the Ruling Passions project, which explored what are often called the ‘special interests’ of neurodivergent adults. Attendees will be also invited to create their own lyrics to fit one of the songs created during a project called Queer the Landscape.

We will explore how music-making practice relates to experiences of queerness and neurodivergence. Chris will share findings from the Ruling Passions project which explored what are often called the ‘special interests’ of neurodivergent adults, many of whom were also queer and / or trans. In the second part of the session, David will share findings from the walking project Queer the Landscape by Oblique Curiosities. Attendees will be invited to create their own lyrics to fit one of the songs created during this project.
