What's on offer?

The Mursi people (also known as Mun), are a small agro-pastoralist community who live in Salamago Woreda of South Omo Zone. Mursi encounters with outsiders have been mostly painful, and often violent, in tune with most indigenous groups globally. Challenging their exclusion from political discussion, in this short film Mursi people address their isolation and the developmental challenges they face.

A screening of the short film ‘Mursi Voices’ will be followed by a reflective conversation about connection and encountering difference.
