Ice-Breaking Activity (5 minutes)
– A quick, playful exercise such as one-sentence storytelling or the whisper game to get everyone engaged and comfortable.

Colour Sorting Game (10 minutes)
– Participants will take part in a hands-on activity sorting items into colour-coded categories (yellow, green, red, purple), exploring the effectiveness and challenges of colour-based recycling.

Prize Draw & Winner Announcement (5 minutes)
– Each participant will be entered into a prize draw, and the winner of the colour sorting game (the most speedy and accurate participant) will also be announced.

This format ensures participants enjoy themselves while also reflecting on the broader question: Does colour coding really improve recycling efficiency, and how inclusive is it for different groups?

What's it about?

This activity is designed to be both enjoyable and insightful. It explores the effectiveness of colour coding in recycling and seeks to address the following key questions:

Does colour coding improve recycling efficiency?

What impact could it have across different groups, including children, families, seniors, disabled individuals, and people with neurodiversity?

What are your thoughts and perspectives on the colour coding strategy?

Benefits of Attending
