What's on offer?

At the event, the participants will be invited to play a 15-minute-long resource allocation game, demonstrating the benefits of collective action. Every player will receive an allocation of tokens, and decide how many of them to put in a shared pot. The tokens in the pot are doubled, and then are evenly shared between all participants, regardless of how much they have personally contributed. Each run of the game will be followed by a 5-minute debrief, with the leader answering questions, explaining how the game illustrates many important real-life tradeoffs, and giving prizes to participants.

What's it about?

Test your community spirit by playing the resource allocation game, win prizes and learn about Economics on the way! Economics is not just the study of money; its tools can be used for the common good, to better allocate resources and increase everone’s payoff!
