#TextedWithLove
Date & time
31 October - 2 November 2025 | 11.00-16.00

What's on offer?
As part of the Festival of Social Science in Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University are hosting an interactive digital exhibition to showcase how text messaging can facilitate positivity in relationships.
What's it about?
Smartphones are everywhere and have changed how we have relationships. What ever happened to eyes meeting across a crowded room, plucking up the courage to ask someone on a date, and love letters? These days it's all swiping, right? With our faces always in our phones, have we forgotten how to interact in in real life?
The media may be all about the doom and gloom effects of phones on romance, but this interactive digital exhibition aims to highlight the good bits. Collecting your digital love notes, it holds up a mirror to show how we share our affection through texts, in a fun display.
Have a look, and join or not - the choice is yours!
