Understanding and engaging with e-cargo bikes for sustainable city logistics

An E-Cargo bike parked on the street

Lifelong wellbeing theme

What’s on offer?

A drop in event where people can explore the world of e-cargo bikes

What’s it about?

E-cargo bikes, a game-changer in first/last-mile logistics, often go unnoticed.

This oversight hinders the transition to eco-friendly city logistics. Awareness of their benefits remains limited due to the scarcity of accessible information and support. Yet, cities have a unique chance to promote low-carbon alternatives. Our event seeks to bridge this gap by raising awareness and offering hands-on e-cargo bike experiences.

Attendees can explore the world of e-cargo bikes and take them for a spin. Through open surveys, we aim to pinpoint the needs they fulfil and their potential in Plymouth's sustainable first/last-mile logistics. Join us to unlock the potential of e-cargo bikes in transforming city transportation.

This drop-in event is aimed at:

- people who are thinking of buying a cargo bike and want to know more

- businesses who want to use cargo bikes

- local community members who are interested in sustainable city logistics

- members of the public who want to try out a cargo bike.

No registration is required to attend and we look forward to seeing you.
