What's on offer?

This interactive workshop is designed for employability professionals working in a range of settings, including Jobcentres, local authority services, and the private and third sectors. Together, we’ll explore how the concept of “good work” can inform and enhance your practice, gain fresh insights into the latest thinking on the topic, and contribute to the creation of new resources for the employability sector.

The event will also provide a valuable space to connect and share experiences with fellow professionals from diverse backgrounds.

What's it about?

The government’s Get Britain Working White Paper highlights the importance of supporting people into “good jobs.” But what do we actually mean by “good work” — and what does this look like in practice for employability professionals?

Who's leading the event?

Dr Katy Jones and colleagues from the Centre for Decent Work and Productivity at Manchester Metropolitan University. Institute of Employability Professionals, Employment Related Services Association, and Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.
