What's on offer?
Part 1 (45-60 minutes): A live webinar with short talks and an open discussion on how our habits, emotions, and everyday decisions affect what we eat and how it impacts our brain and wellbeing. Easy visuals will help explain the ideas.
Part 2 (45-60 minutes): An interactive workshop where you’ll team up in small groups to come up with creative ideas for a new digital tool that makes learning about food and healthy habits fun and practical.
What's it about?
This event will explore how everyday choices are shaped by habits, emotions, social influences, and mental shortcuts. Using insights from behavioural science, nutrition, and psychology, we will also explore how simple strategies and digital tools can help us make healthier, brain-boosting food choices.
Who's leading the event?
Event is led by Dr Angel Tan, Teaching Fellow of Psychology at Aston University in collaboration with Think Through Nutrition (TTN), a UK-based charity focused on improving nutrition education among vulnerable and underserved populations.

Open to secondary school students (ages 14–18) and members of the public.
