What's on offer?

Join us for an interactive myth-busting activity exploring everyday assumptions about poverty, food insecurity, and digital inequalities. Using simple prompts beginning with "Everyone has…", you'll be invited to decide whether common beliefs are true, partly true, or myths. You can also share your thoughts, experiences, and reflections by adding a leaf to our Community Tree, helping to grow a collective picture of what inclusion, dignity, and support mean within our community.

What's it about?

This event explores everyday assumptions and asks us to think about how people access food and digital technologies, how food and technology are connected, and what difference it can makes to people's lives if they don't have reliable access to food and/or tech.

Who's leading the event?

This event will be run by Dr Suzanne McClure and Dr Jeanette D'Arcy from the University of Liverpool's Digital Media and Society Institute, and Dr Bethan Mead from the Department of Psychology.
