Come and hear about the Seeing Stigma research and view patient photography before responding with your own messages and reflections.  15 min talk that provides an overview of the research project, followed by a 45 minute craft workshop where participants can  view patient photography and  help grow our Cannabis Flower Reflection Display by creating buds (messages of support for patients), leaves (reflections & learning) or seeds (ideas for tackling stigma and creating patient-friendly spaces).

What's it about?

This workshop accompanies a curated display of photography by cannabis patients that participated in the photovoice study, conducted as part of the Medical Cannabis Research Project.  The workshop aims to amplify the voices of cannabis patients, invite people to reply to patients with their messages of hope and support, and contribute ideas for transforming policy or making public spaces accessible to patients.
