Professional audiences
What's on offer?
An invite-only online training day for teachers and educators, exploring how the Cynefin Digidol project can be used to teach digital inclusion, design and innovation in the classroom. The day combines short talks, practical workshop activities and structured discussion, with ready-to-use classroom resources shared with all attendees.
What's it about?
Cynefin is the place where we feel we belong. Cynefin Digidol asks what that means for our digital lives: who has been included in the story of computing so far, and how local heritage can build digital confidence and a sense of belonging in Welsh communities.
This training day introduces the project's research and resources, and works through how they can support teaching about digital inclusion, design and innovation. Drawing on Swansea's computing story participants will explore how local heritage can anchor discussions of technology, identity and who gets to shape the digital future. Sessions link directly to curriculum themes in the Science and Technology Area of Learning and Experience and the Digital Competence Framework, with practical activities teachers can adapt for their own settings.
