HPV Confident, Covered, Protected!
Date & time

What's on offer?
This exciting series of workshops planned in collaboration with the Personal, Social, And Health Education (PSHE) team at Holmfirth High School in Kirklees, is aimed at educating Year 8 pupils about HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). Through fun and interactive activities, games and videos, we aim to help the young people learn about the dangers of HPV and the importance of the HPV vaccine.
What's it about?
This event is designed to provide timely information about HPV and the HPV vaccine to Year 8 pupils, as they prepare to receive the HPV vaccine as part of the national HPV vaccination programme. By the end of these sessions, the young people will be more informed of the effects of HPV on their health and wellbeing and the benefits of the HPV vaccination. This will empower them to be more involved in the decision making around the HPV vaccine and help them make well-informed decisions.
