Join academics from the University of Birmingham and experts from The Guardian Foundation for a fun, hands-on session designed for children aged 7 to 11 and their grown-ups.

What's it about?

In today’s world of endless information, it’s more important than ever to know what we can trust. Through interactive activities, families will explore how to spot fake news, understand how images and stories can be manipulated, learn how websites shape what we see online – and discover ways to talk about the news in a healthy, informed way.
