Places for work we want to work in
From the past to the future (Talks and Exhibition Tours)
Date & time
23 October 2025 | 10.30-13.45
What's on offer?
A public exhibition of the chronology of workplace design from the past to the present, as well as keynote talks and workshops featuring estemmed speakers in the field of workplace architecture.
What's it about?
The event builds on existing design research on workplace futures from the Welsh School of Architecture that co-creates a future research agenda with a range of stakeholders. In the exhibition and online talk, we will explore the intersection of working lives and workplaces, including typologies of corporate offices, spaces for upskilling and lifelong learning for better work, and locations for volunteering and community work. We will question how design can enhance productivity, wellbeing and community engagement.
