What's on offer?
Every year, millions of NHS appointments are missed. Researchers at Manchester Met and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust are testing whether a short, free online questionnaire could help healthcare workers, so patients feel care is more personal and relevant, and reduce missed appointments .
Finding proper support is not a one-size-fits-all solution. The anonymous questionnaire is designed to reveal how motivated people are to live a healthy life and help the NHS provide more tailored support to patients.
What's it about?
The 'Health Styles' survey will be conducted across train stations, supermarkets and hospitals in Manchester to expand the scope of the research and gain a real insight from different communities.
Participants will be invited to have honest conversations with Dr Peter Goodwin, Senior lecturer in Physiotherapy, and his research team. By completing this questionnaire, you are helping shape academic research and developing a tool which could transform our healthcare system.
