Imagine there’s no money…
Date & time
27 October 2026 | 10.00-14.00
What's on offer?
An interactive table-top stall and drop-by activity
What's it about?
Rather than teaching a single ‘correct’ model of the economy, the stall and activity open up space for curiosity and critical reflection. It all begins with a brief outline of contemporary inequality – presented at the table top stall through speech and posters. Participants are invited to spend a few moments sitting at one of 2-3 tables (each with a facilitator), using large sheets of flipchart paper, coloured markers, stickers, and simple prompts to draw, map out, illustrate, doodle and write down their reflections on three core questions.
Imagining a world where there’s no money…
How should stuff get made (e.g. food, homes, clothes)?
How should we make sure people get what they need?
What should happen when some people have much more money or wealth than others?
