What do children really eat at school?

A drop in stall exploring food choices at schools in Wales. 

This will be a lively, interactive activity stand. Using games, visuals and prizes, the stand will explore school food through a social science lens, focusing on what is provided, what is chosen, and what is actually eaten, in the context of Universal Free School Meals (UFSM) in Wales and ongoing cost‑of‑living pressures. It is a key opportunity to disseminate early findings and engage families with “RISE”, a £1.6m UKRI-funded research project focussed on the provision, uptake and consumption of school food in primary schools.
