Date & time
28 October 2026 | 10.00-15.00
Money & finance theme
What's on offer?
Through a series of drop-in activities, you’ll reflect on how family, culture, work, life stage and the wider economic climate can influence your relationship with money. You’ll also explore how financial experiences and pressures can differ across generations, including:
- Young adults beginning to manage their own finances
- Parents and carers thinking about how money is discussed with children
- Mid-life adults navigating housing, caring responsibilities and pensions
- Older adults reflecting on a lifetime of financial experiences
This is about reflection, not personal disclosure. You won’t be asked to share details of your own financial circumstances or anything you’d rather keep private.
No expertise is needed. Drop by, take part as much or as little as you like, and discover how financial confidence not just about numeracy, but lived experience and identity.
What's it about?
How have your life experiences shaped the way you feel about money?
Money influences everyday life in deeply personal but often hidden ways, yet we don’t always have the opportunity to explore it. This interactive event invites you to build a better understanding of what shapes your own financial confidence.
