What's on offer?

Come together at the Juggle Hub to explore how democracy shapes our working lives and the ways we collaborate. Through a collective collage and creative craft activities for all ages, we’ll reflect on how democratic values - like inclusion, empathy, and shared decision-making can enhance our workplaces and communities.

This interactive event encourages awareness and sensitivity towards others and ourselves, helping us build environments where everyone’s voice matters. Whether you're a student, professional, or simply curious, you'll gain insights into how democratic principles influence teamwork, leadership, and everyday interactions.

What's it about?

We need to feel democracy, not just learn about it and study it as a system of living and governing together. To protect and strengthen democracy, education that supports democratic values and sensibilities is vital. Learning through art, movement, and emotion - “aesthetic and embodied learning” - can help to deepen understandings of and feelings for democracy and transform how we relate with each other and participate in democratic societies.

AECED is funded by Horizon Europe and UKRI – you can find out more about it here: https://aeced.org/about-aeced/
