The wellbeing juggle: How healthy and supportive is your workplace?
Date & time
30 October - 31 October 2025 | 11.00-16.00
What's on offer?
Discover University of Hertfordshire research on workplace health and wellbeing in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at our interactive stand. Take part in our “Health and Wellbeing Radar” activity, where, by placing a coloured sticker on the chart, you can see where you sit across key wellbeing themes such as organisational support, psychological and social wellbeing, physical health, communication, and workplace culture.
Compare your experience with others and spark meaningful conversations about how we can create healthier, more supportive workplaces. Alongside the activity, we’ll be sharing practical tips drawn from our research - covering everything from improving communication and reducing stress, to fostering inclusive cultures and promoting physical wellbeing at work. Whether you're an SME leader, employee, or simply curious, come along to gain insights, share your voice, and leave with ideas to boost wellbeing in your own working life.
What's it about?
Workplace health and wellbeing isn’t just a nice-to-have – it affects how people feel, perform, and thrive. University of Hertfordshire research has explored the experiences of employees in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), highlighting what supports staff and what creates challenges. At the Festival of Social Science, our interactive stand lets you get involved and see the research in action.
